We are looking for people who want to start their journey in the water industry as a field services technician by becoming a Water Quality Flushing Technician. Here you will gain an understanding of the clean water distribution network, which is fundamental to human health. You’ll be part of a water flushing team that regularly flushes mains water pipes to keep the network clean and running properly. This involves moving water through the system, carrying out basic checks, and helping prevent discolouration to protect water quality over time.
Responsibilities
- Flush mains water pipes to maintain network cleanliness.
- Perform basic checks to ensure water quality.
- Assist in preventing discolouration of water.
Qualifications
- Be able to work outdoors in all conditions, including at night.
- Organised, logical, and able to work accurately whilst maintaining high‑quality standards and customer care focus.
- Good time keeping, reliable and hard working.
- Strong team player who places emphasis on collaborative working and knowledge sharing.
- A clean UK manual driving licence.
- Some knowledge of clean water distribution networks and flushing is desirable.
