Principal Responsibilities
As a Contract Supervisor you will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager and the Project Managers across the Southwest region. You will be expected to provide operational support across the contract, assuring quality of service is maintained as well as the health, safety and wellbeing within the teams.
You will undertake a variety of management support tasks such as onâsite auditing, recruitment, as well as lead on employee engagement and assurance reporting. The role is regionally based with occasional national support, carrying responsibility for H&S training and auditing to ensure consistent delivery across our customer base.
Main Duties
- Support Managers on a variety of projects and initiatives, and deliver small projects.
- Carry out health and safety/quality auditing â site, staff and subâcontractors, as required.
- Assist in supervising and coordinating staff including training, and any health and safety related tasks.
- Complete reports, prioritise projects, and monitor compliance with operational policies.
- Support the project managers with recruitment, interviews, inductions, etc.
- Attend meetings as required and requested by the Project Managers.
- Assist with the distribution and control of equipment/hardware around the team.
- Lead on employee engagement, being visible to employees across the area.
- Respond to and resolve regional employee issues and queries with the support of the Project Managers.
- Interact with a handsâon approach to management and supervision.
Skills and Experience
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft 365 packages.
- Ability to lead by example, setting high standards as expected by our customers.
- Work well in an interâmanagement relationship and be confident offering improvement plans to colleagues and management in a structured environment.
- Clear communicator with all stakeholders.
- Confidence and capability to work within Aqualogic corporate management systems, collaborating with engineers and management.
