Aqualine by Alway are specialist UK designers, manufacturers, and installers of food-grade stainless steel drainage, kerbing, wall protection, and hygienic facility systems. Working across the food, beverage, logistics, and manufacturing sectors, we deliver high-performance solutions including:
- Commercial stainless steel drainage systems (channels, gullies, outlets, covers)
- Hygienic kerbing and impact protection systems
- Wall cladding and surface protection solutions
- Full turnkey installation packages including first and second fix works
All products are designed and manufactured in-house at our Loughborough facility, supporting both bespoke projects and large-scale installations across the UK and Europe. Our work is focused on hygiene compliance, durability, and operational efficiency in critical environments. All of our products are manufactured in-house at our state-of-the-art production facility by our experienced team of designers and sheet metal fabricators, drawing on over 35 years of experience. Our clients include some of the largest household brands and food production industry leaders in the United Kingdom, to which we have provided off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions.
To carry out the on-site installations of Aqualine by Alway products effectively and efficiently to meet installation targets, job budgets and objectives.
Responsibilities
- TIG welding and fabrication of hygienic stainless steel drainage systems, kerbing, and protection products
- Manufacture of components including channels, covers, gullies, outlets, bump rails, and bespoke stainless steel fabrications
- Working to tight tolerances and hygienic fabrication standards suitable for food-grade environments
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce bespoke and project-specific fabrications
- Operating fabrication equipment including press brake, guillotine, rollers, drills, and finishing tools
- Producing high-quality finishes suitable for visible, cleanable, and hygienic installations
- Supporting installation teams with on-site fitting and modification works when required
- Ensuring all work meets strict quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- Recording job progress accurately through internal systems
Candidates should be prepared to stay away from home throughout the week on occasions. In recognition of this we offer a competitive day rate (dependent on skills and experiences), overnight food/drink allowance of £45.00 per night, accommodation, pension, and the opportunity to further develop your skills.
Qualifications
- Have previous experience of TIG welding within a site environment.
- Have a relevant welding qualification to NVQ L2 as a minimum.
- Candidates should have industry experience.
- Experience installing within food/beverage sector sites advantageous.
