Aquaforce is an established building and construction company committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service. We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our office operations and ensure our financial records are accurate and up to date.
Role Overview
The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting functions, maintain financial records, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business. This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. Based at our office in Newtownabbey, hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 1pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, receipts, and supplier statements
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Prepare documentation and work with our external accountant
- Maintain payroll records and process weekly
- Track project costs, budgets, and job expenses
- Maintain accurate financial filing systems
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper (construction industry experience is an advantage)
- Proficiency with Xero software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of payroll requirements
