At South West Water, we know great delivery doesn’t happen by chance — it happens through structure, coordination and people who keep everything flowing smoothly. We’re looking for an Operational Technology Project Support Officer (PSO) to provide essential coordination, governance and administrative support across our projects and programmes. You’ll work closely with Programme Managers, Delivery Managers and project teams to keep information accurate, actions moving and decisions well-informed.

What you’ll do:

  • Support day-to-day coordination across multiple projects and workstreams
  • Maintain project documentation, records and reporting
  • Track actions, risks, issues and changes through RAID and control logs
  • Coordinate meetings, procurement activities and project communications
  • Support project governance, assurance reviews and stage gates
  • Help monitor schedules, spend and performance data
  • Assist with CDM documentation and health & safety file management

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience supporting projects, programmes or PMO environments
  • Familiarity with structured methods such as PRINCE2 or Agile
  • Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work across multiple priorities and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Desirable: Project support qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation or APM PFQ

The successful candidate may be required to undergo additional Security Vetting depending on the project portfolio they support. Appointment may therefore be conditional upon successfully obtaining and maintaining the appropriate clearance.
