Full‑time position based at the Exeter Laboratory in Countess Wear. Salary: £26,914 per annum + benefits.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with laboratory customers (internal and external) to provide effective customer support.
- Support the administration of procurement activities for the laboratory using ELLIPSE.
- Receipt and registration of samples received for regulatory and commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager.
- Run reports to monitor samples received and act to resolve any deficiencies to ensure samples are analysed according to customer expectations.
- Liaise with subcontractors, providing results and entry of returning sample data.
- Display high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with regulatory standards and policies.
- Assist with occasional local off‑site collection or delivery of samples.
- Other office‑based general administration and occasional other duties which may include out of hours or weekend working.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs grade A‑C including English and Maths, or Science (or equivalent qualifications).
- Previous experience within an office administration role and customer facing role.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint.
- A flexible, proactive approach to work and changing work environment.
