Join South West Water’s Strategic Resource Options Programme in Exeter or Bristol HQ with hybrid working on a full-time basis. South West Water is delivering a major infrastructure programme and we’re looking for a Procurement Project Manager to help shape how it’s brought to life. This is a strategic role where procurement is central to delivery — offering the chance to influence decisions, work collaboratively across teams, and help deliver long‑term value for customers and communities.

- Lead procurement across a significant major infrastructure programme
- Help shape strategy within a developing regulatory model (DPC/SIPR)
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders across technical, commercial and operational teams

What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and delivering procurement strategies for major project scope
- Accountable for running end‑to‑end procurement processes (from PQQ through to award) for our SRO major project portfolio
- Designing fair, transparent and competitive procurement approaches
- Engaging with the market to encourage strong, diverse supplier participation
- Ensuring compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and Ofwat guidance
- Building clear, auditable processes to support governance and reporting
- Collaborating with legal, engineering and delivery teams
- Managing external advisers and supporting knowledge sharing within the team
- Aligning procurement with wider programme and commercial objectives

- Commercial awareness and a thoughtful, problem‑solving approach
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with delivery
