We currently have an opportunity for a Water Resources Project Manager to join our team based in Exeter, Bristol or Surrey. Working on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
The role will require a talented individual who can work effectively across teams and build relationships with all stakeholders in order to plan, implement and deliver projects which have a focus on water resources.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Manage water resource projects primarily driven by our AMP8 WINEP programme and identify project goals and determine potential challenges that can increase costs or cause delays, track progress and supervise project resources from inside and outside of the business to ensure the achievement of milestones.
- Support the Environmental Monitoring and Programme Manager to deliver the WINEP programme to time, cost and quality parameters.
- Meet with functional management, clients and stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
- Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revise based on changing needs and requirements.
- Help to develop the culture and ethos to facilitate the most efficient delivery, ensuring the effective delivery of the programme in accordance with agreed strategies, objectives, and performance targets, including management of risks and issues.
- Ensure good management of team data and file systems to enable the reporting of concise, well presented, standardised and auditable records for the department to conform to business requirements.
- Act as the link between relevant project delivery teams across the Pennon group plus external stakeholders which will include external partners and regulators.
- Proven experience of a range of project management techniques and working with others at pace in a high change environment.
