Aqua Sana Forest Spa is an award-winning spa offering a combination of experiences, products and treatments. Each spa - one at each Center Parcs location - is uniquely designed, with up to 25 spa experience rooms to explore. There is also an extensive range of face and body treatments available to book, carried out by expert therapists using products from the finest product houses including Elemis, Comfort Zone and VOYA.

We’re looking for a passionate and inspiring Shift Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of Aqua Sana Forest Spa. This is a hands-on leadership position where exceptional guest care, colleague engagement, and commercial awareness come together to create an outstanding spa experience. Reporting to one of the Aqua Sana Forest Spa Assistant Managers, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the spa during your shifts, confidently handling guest enquiries, driving on-the-day sales, and upholding the very highest standards of service for both guests and colleagues.

You’ll support with leading and motivating a large team, taking accountability for daily operational performance while fostering a positive, professional, and supportive environment. Working collaboratively as part of a management team, you’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for customer and team satisfaction. You’ll also take ownership of a specialist area within the operation - Service, Therapy or Experience - while remaining adaptable and ready to support across all areas to meet the needs of the business. Hours of work

You will be contracted to work 75 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a large team, taking accountability for daily operational performance while upholding high standards of service for guests and colleagues.
  • Confidently handle guest enquiries and drive on-the-day sales.
  • Support with managing the shift operation across the spa and service areas (Service, Therapy or Experience).
  • Collaborate as part of a management team to ensure smooth spa operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Adapt and support across all areas to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Experience of people management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise daily tasks. Pre-empts problems and seeks to find solutions.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, support and challenge a team.
  • Holds at least one of the following qualifications: Level 3 Beauty qualification, NPLQ, PPO, training assessor or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Previous experience of working within a similar role / beauty industry with experience of spa / leisure booking systems.
