Aqua-Tech Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of water treatment projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical infrastructure schemes, supporting the successful delivery of civil works from design through to completion. You’ll play a key role in coordinating technical delivery, managing documentation, and supporting site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of civil engineering works on water treatment projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Assist with planning and programme coordination
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and design engineers
- Ensure works are delivered in line with quality and compliance standards
- Prepare and manage RAMS, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Support procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Assist with cost tracking, variations, and reporting
Requirements
- Experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role within civil engineering
- Background in water, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of:
- Concrete structures
- Drainage and pipework
- General civil engineering practices
Desirable
- Experience working with UK water authorities (e.g. Severn Trent Water)
- Knowledge of NEC contracts
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Temporary Works awareness
