Assembly of electrical / mechanical products manufactured by the company. Read and work from electrical schematic drawings and follow instructions from electrical engineers. Fitting out control panels including drilling & tapping back plates, attaching trunking and cutting out enclosures. Wiring of electrical control panels including wire stripping, crimping, terminating and soldering wire and cable assemblies. Basic electrical safety & function testing of subassemblies. Complete production check lists and timesheets. Adhere to company health and safety policies and practices. Adhere to company quality control processes and procedures. The above list is not definitive, as the employee will be expected to carry out other tasks within reason when requested by the company.
Profile Skills and experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly.
- Qualification in an Electrical HNC or Apprenticeship preferred.
- Capable of reading, interpreting and working to electrical schematics and drawings.
