Aqua-Tech are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter/Technician with proven experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and refurbishment within the water or heavy industrial sector. The role will require you to install, maintain, repair, and refurbish mechanical plant and equipment, ensuring all work meets WIMES standards, client specifications, and health and safety regulations. Flexibility is required to travel to various project sites and a willingness to undertake overnight stays when required.
Requirements:
- Mechanical installation, maintenance, and refurbishment in water/heavy industry.
- Pipework installation across ductile iron, stainless steel, carbon steel, UPVC, ABS.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Health, safety, and environmental best practice.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Competence with hand tools, power tools, and pipework equipment.
