Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer to join a growing team delivering automation and control system projects within the Water & Wastewater sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects from design through to commissioning, supporting the delivery of high-quality automation solutions across the industry.
The Role:
- Design and develop PLC, HMI and SCADA systems
- Produce technical documentation including FDS, I/O lists and system architecture
- Carry out software testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Support telemetry integration and network communications
- Work closely with clients to ensure standards and project requirements are met
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the Water & Wastewater industry is essential
- Strong PLC and HMI programming experience
- Experience with software testing and commissioning
- Knowledge of network setup and integration across multiple PLCs
- Good client-facing communication skills
- Electrical qualification or equivalent industry experience
Experience with:
- Mitsubishi GX Works
- Allen Bradley Studio 5000 Logix
- Siemens TIA Portal / Unified HMI
- Wonderware SCADA systems
