As our HR Manager, you will ensure a high performing team by supporting our managers in the restaurants, handle and support our managers with all employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture. We are looking for someone with experience of being in a managerial role already, ideally in hospitality or retail, who can deal with complex HR matters and bigger teams. This role will have a Junior HR Manager role reporting into them, and the restaurants will be split between the two roles.

Where are we located? The position will be split between our Support Office located on Borough High Street and some of the Aqua restaurants.

Your day at Aqua:

  • Coaching Managers: Support and coach managers on their employee relations and taking part in coaching managers to reduce turnover and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Team Collaboration: This role has one direct reporting line, the Junior HR Manager and reports into the HR Director. It is a team of 6, hence a lot of cooperation and proactiveness is the key to success
  • Strategic Mindset: Driving initiatives in performance management and career development
