Your Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions and business intelligence applications.
  • Utilize SSIS, Talend, and AWS Glue to design and implement efficient ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration of financial and client data from various sources into data warehouses.
  • Design and maintain data models and architecture that supports the storage and retrieval of large volumes of financial data while ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Microstrategy and provide stakeholders with actionable insights derived from complex financial datasets.
  • Rapidly iterate, prototype, and implement data visualizations using advanced design and development skills.
  • Model data and transform according to visualization needs.
  • Leverage Python and SQL to manipulate and analyze data, implement algorithms, and automate processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
  • Implement and maintain strict data security measures and compliance standards to safeguard sensitive financial information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, financial experts, and IT professionals to analyze requirements and deliver comprehensive data solutions.
  • Serve as analytics and visualization Tableau subject-matter expert to build innovative solutions to support multiple teams.
  • Create and/or refine data visualization guidelines, toolkits, and processes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform data warehousing.
  • Utilize ETL tools (SSIS and Talend); AWS Glue; Python; and SQL.
  • Apply knowledge of financial instruments, markets, and client data management.
  • Utilize DW/BI tools (MicroStrategy; Tableau; AWS; MPP Database).
  • Gather requirements and convert them into technical design documents.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in data warehousing; ETL tools (SSIS and Talend); AWS Glue; Python; SQL; financial instruments, markets, and client data management; DW/BI tools (MicroStrategy; Tableau; AWS; MPP Database); and/or, gathering requirements and converting them into technical design documents.
