Technical Business Analyst (Contractor) – EdTech Industry
Location: Remote / London

About the Role:
Aqovia is seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing API specifications, with strong Agile and Scrum expertise, specifically within the EdTech sector. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative educational technology projects. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
- Design and specify APIs to support scalable and robust integrations
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure delivery aligns with Scrum practices
- Translate business needs into technical documentation and API specifications
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in iterative development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Provide insights on LMS integrations and leverage LLM capabilities to enhance platform features
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business or Technical Business Analyst in the EdTech industry
- Extensive experience designing API specifications (RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL)
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in EdTech solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to understand complex technical environments and translate them into clear documentation
