At AQA, our busy and dynamic Operational Departments manage a range of tasks from supporting our Examiners through the exam period to processing the exam papers as they are received and offering guidance during the summer Appeals process; all in order to ensure students get the right grade at the right time. To achieve this, we bring on hundreds of seasonal workers and we need a great set of leaders to guide them!
You will play an important role by allocating work within your team, driving performance to meet KPIs and supporting us to deliver best in class customer service.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to use your own initiative
- Excellent communication and customer skills (including verbal and written)
- Ability to remain calm and focused whilst working to strict deadlines
- Exceptional planning, organisation and administrative skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and the ability to pick up new computer systems
We will make sure you are equipped and trained in AQA process, so you will become a core part of a diverse and supportive team; all working towards delivering exam results on time across the country.
Hourly rate: £15.60p/h
Start dates: 27/04/2026
End date: 31/07/2026
Hours: 35 hours a week; 7 hour shifts between 8am and 7pm. Weekend shifts will be shared amongst the team. There may also be opportunities for additional hours, depending on business need and availability.
Location: University of Manchester Campus Offices, with hybrid working options.
