Do you have experience of working with numerical datasets and are looking to work in a company with a real purpose? AQA is an educational charity and the leading provider of GCSE and A-level qualifications. We are looking for Temporary Data Control Coordinators to join our team.
You will be working on a range of data-led tasks to support the processing of student marks and results. This is a great opportunity to use your technical skills to monitor progress and quality, and identify emerging issues. Good teamwork and communication skills are essential to challenge and support other colleagues to take action, ensuring the right results are issued on time.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- To work as part of a team in order to deliver processes to agreed deadlines.
- Experience of understanding, analysing and interpreting extensive numerical datasets to support sound decision making.
- The ability to communicate technical or data driven information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent IT skills with experience of working with analysis tools and data management.
- The ability to interpret raw data and make appropriate informed recommendations for action.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality assurance and control.
From day one we’ll make sure you’re fully equipped and trained. You will also have access to our internal jobs board, from which almost 50% of our permanent roles are filled.
Hourly rate: £15.60 per hour
Contract dates: Tuesday 26 May - Friday 21 August
Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday - Sunday between 8am and 8pm, although shifts would predominantly be Monday - Friday
Location: University of Manchester campus (approx. 3 days a week working from home)
