You will be responsible for a range of administrative duties as you support and monitor the progress of our examiners, working alongside a selection of dedicated teams, including Marking, Moderation & Reconciliation. By offering your best service, you will enable them to deliver their best to students nationwide.

Equipment will be provided, and you will have the chance to showcase your adaptability as you develop your skills on a range of internal systems. You will be working right in the heart of the process, based in our central offices, surrounded by the perks of being on site and a lively, engaging team. However, we appreciate the importance of flexibility, and a selection of roles can be performed on a rotation of home/office work, once a probationary period has been passed.

You should have good attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving, as you build networks to resolve complications that might prevent our students from achieving the right mark on time. When the exams are done, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you were part of a larger purpose and earned CV boosting experience.

Plus, whilst you are working with us, you will have access to a virtual library of training/learning resources and an internal vacancies board – where around 50% of subsequent temp and permanent roles are filled from.

Contract details:
  • Location: Hybrid options, with core days working in our offices on the University of Manchester campus, M15 6EX
  • Pay: £13.75 per hour
  • Start Date: Various across May
  • End Date: Late July to August (depending on role assigned) with possibility for extensions
  • Working hours: Full time 35 hours over Monday to Friday; 7 hour shifts (plus an hour's unpaid lunch) between 8am and 6pm. In addition to the 35 hours, regular weekend working is an expectation with shifts scheduled in advance across the team.
