Overview

In this role you will lead the development and accreditation of digital qualifications, ensuring regulatory alignment and market relevance. You will collaborate with subject experts, associates and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality specifications, SAMs and assessment strategies. You will navigate regulatory requirements (DfE and Ofqual) while keeping learners’ needs at the forefront. This is a rare chance to shape UK digital qualifications during a period of reform and to influence teachers’ and learners’ experiences. You will work in a newly formed team focused on impactful qualification development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development of digital qualification specifications and materials to meet regulatory briefs
  • Ensure alignment between qualification development and digital exam platform functionality
  • Collaborate with Associates and subject matter experts to create high‑quality qualifications and supporting materials
  • Coordinate across assessment, product and qualification development teams to support accreditation and delivery
  • Build stakeholder relationships and support evidence‑based decision making
  • Monitor risks, issues and dependencies across the development lifecycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of qualification development processes
  • Ensure materials are ready for timely Ofqual accreditation and resubmission as needed
  • Support concept and market testing to validate design and gather stakeholder feedback

Key requirements

  • Experience developing materials to a development/design brief
  • Understanding of DfE content and regulatory frameworks and Ofqual accreditation
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including external associates
  • Strong organisational skills and version control
  • Experience working with SMEs or associates in content creation
  • Ability to work at pace in an agile, deadline-driven environment
