Hybrid Working

You know that feeling when you spot a typo in a headline and it physically hurts? Good. You\’re our kind of person.

We\’re looking for someone who gets a thrill from perfectly formatted documents, who can juggle deadlines and who understands that behind every exam paper sat by thousands of students, there\’s someone quietly making sure it all runs like clockwork.

That someone could be you.

You will have a 35 hour working week, 25 days annual leave, (which rises to 30 days) and with Bank Holidays and additional office closure days around Christmas on top. You will have private medical insurance and a really good pension (combined contributions up to 18.5%) We have active network groups (including LGTBQ+, neurodiversity, disAbility, empowering women, ethnic diversity and wellbeing networks), an extensive online learning platform, days for volunteering and more.

AQA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone-regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, age, disability, sexual orientation, or background-is valued, respected, and supported to thrive.

Every year, over 2,000 assessment materials-question papers, mark schemes, modified large print papers-are created, checked, and shipped out for students across the globe. It\’s a mammoth operation. And it needs someone who can keep the wheels turning without losing their cool (or their commas).

As an Assessment Coordinator, you\’ll be the glue between Assessment Managers, Support Managers, and Senior Associates. You\’ll wrangle Word docs, paginate like a pro, chase actions, coordinate comments, and make sure everything is where it should be-on time, every time.

You\’ll also be the kind of person who can spot a formatting error from 10 paces.

This isn\’t just administration. It\’s precision work. It\’s quality control. It\’s making sure that what lands on a student\’s desk is fair, accurate, and error-free.

You\’ll be part of a team that champions assessment quality and best practice. You\’ll work across subject groups-English, Maths, Science, Humanities, and more-supporting the creation of materials that genuinely shape futures.

And yes, there\’s a lot of process. But if you\’re the kind of person who finds joy in ticking off a well-structured to-do list, you\’ll love it here.

If you\’ve got:
* A sharp eye for detail
* Strong organisational skills
* Experience juggling multiple deadlines
* A decent grasp of grammar and formatting
* The ability to work with people right across the business …
…then hit that apply button.

Because while students are revising, someone needs to make sure the paper they sit is flawless. That someone could be you.

We will be reviewing applications as they are received, so apply sooner rather than later.
Please upload your most recent CV with a cover letter to explain how your skills and experience match the job description.
Interviews will be from 04 August in the Manchester or Guildford office (depending upon your location).
