Here at AQA we know that a Receptionist can make the difference to a visitor’s day. We strive to provide a welcoming, positive and engaging first impression to our AQA offices, and by joining our Reception team over the busy exam period you will play a part in this by interacting with our colleagues, contractors and visitors.
Beyond greeting people as they arrive, our Reception team is responsible for tasks including visitor and contractor management, access and security control to our buildings, meeting room bookings and administrative housekeeping. Over the exam period you'll find yourself in a fast-paced environment, so it's important you have the ability to prioritise and work flexibly at pace, whether on your own or alongside our other Receptionists.
Ideally you'll have previous reception/front of house experience, along with good admin and computer skills, however training and support will be available to cover AQA specific processes. Our Manchester office is the centre of our operations – the beginning of everyone's journey here is with our integral Reception team.
Contract details:
- Pay: £13.60 per hour
- Dates: 02/03/2026 – 31/08/2026
- Hours: 35 hours a week, shift patterns will be either 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm, depending on business needs.
- Location: AQA Manchester (University of Manchester campus)
