JOB DESCRIPTION
APX is seeking a motivated individual to assist in metal fabrication.

The role involves deburring, grinding, and finishing metal parts, including stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.

The position may include general fabrication tasks and requires attention to quality and safety standards.

No prior experience is required, as training is available for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deburr metal parts using hand tools and equipment to ensure smooth and safe edges.
  • Perform passivation of stainless steel.
  • Grind steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts to a polished finish.
  • Assist with general fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Follow blueprints and work instructions to complete jobs accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished parts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is a plus but not required. Training is provided.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and operating machinery.
  • Ability to read simple blueprints or work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
