We’re seeking a full‑time Accounts Payable Specialist II to join our team on‑site in our Lichfield, UK Office. This role will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording cash flow and for the full cycle of the Accounts Payable process.
Primary Responsibilities:- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- Acquire proper approval for billing and vendor set‑up
- Sox compliance
- GL Reconciliations
- Assist with the resolution of discrepancies or problems that prohibit timely ordering of goods and services or timely payment of invoices
- Assist with Bridger reporting as part of Data compliance
- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports
- Fortnightly Payment runs
- Maintain a list of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field experience preferred, including AAT Level 1
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3‑5 years of related experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of General Ledger systems and Accounts Payable processing
- Understanding of GAAP
- Highly motivated self‑starter with commitment to attention to detail
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, and within a team environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and recording skills
