We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Legal Counsel to join our legal team in the UK. As an Associate Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for offering support to the legal and commercial team through the analysis of contracts, documents, draft elaboration, and sending extrajudicial notifications.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Litigation, reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
- Analyzing leases
- Preparing documents
- Supporting the management of existing properties
- Managing litigation
- Supporting and advising on general company matters
In this role, you will ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise our company on legal rights and duties. You will manage litigation and potential litigation matters in cooperation with Property Management teams, and internal as well as outside counsel. You will also analyze new potential site acquisitions from a risk management perspective in conjunction with underwriters, as well as revenue enhancement opportunities for the existing portfolio.
Provide guidance, advice, support and day-to-day management with respect to general legal activities of the company.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law and practical experience
- Preferably 3+ years of law firm or in-house experience in contracts, real estate, land use, transactional, business development, landlord/tenant, property management, telecommunications, and/or business development
- Litigation experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet and database management
