The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

The successful candidate will be required to work within the current operational team at our HO in Westhoughton. Whilst the candidate will be given the flexibility to develop the role, they will report to the Electrical Manager.Overall Purpose of the Role:The candidate would be expected to assist in managing resources (direct and sub-contract) on a day to day basis and will assist the electrical Manager to ensure electrical works are completed as required by the business.Ideally the candidate will have experience of electric installation works. The role may suit an experienced fitter or jointer looking to move into a supervisory role or an electrical based engineer.Sub-Stations and MSUs– Role will be responsible for overseeing the cradle to grave process for sub-station installations, inspection regime (including civils build) cable terminations and sub-station electrical fit out. Also when required to arrange MSU installations and internal trunking and tails.What you will be doing:

  • Management of fitter and Jointing Resources
  • Production/Checking of Work Instructions
  • Sub-station build inspections.
  • Supervision of sub-station fit outs
  • Auditing Resources
  • Material Call offs
  • Assisting in programming of works for resources.
  • Liaising with clients and their contractors appointed to sub-station builds.
  • Attend site meetings
  • Interaction with IDNO / DNO counterparts.
  • Dealing with any Non-conformance or snagging lists through to resolution and closure

  • Jointing or Electrical Background in DNO or IDNO company
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word & Excel
  • Committed to customer service
  • First Aid (desirable)
  • Electric SHEA (desirable)
  • NRSWA (desirable)

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets is essential
