The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Overall Purpose of the Role
To work as part of the operational team, working on vehicle charging/street lighting contracts on new residential sites for the country’s leading developers within the Midlands area.
What you will be doing
- Installation of lanterns on new columns
- Installation of feeder pillars and associated distribution systems
- Installation of EV Chargers on domestic & commercial premises
- Fault finding on SWA underground networks
- Cable pulls and private SWA jointing
- Testing & certification of works undertaken
- Periodic inspection & testing and rectification works
What we ask from you
- Experience of street lighting contracts
- Completed electrical apprenticeship including 18th edition
- Ability to work at heights
- Experience of feeder pillar installations & EV Chargers
- Experienced in working to challenging performance measures
- Good communication and drawing reading skills
- Performance driven to ensure contractual timelines are met and schemes delivered on time
- Able to understand and implement Risk Assessments and method statements
- Flexible in working hours and to be available when needed (including some weekend work)
- Full driving licence required
- Full Streetworks
- Ability to manage own workload, set priorities and work to strict deadlines
- Evidence and interest in and commitment to the success of Aptus Utilities Limited

- Desirable - Class 2 Driving license, Towing, C&G 2394/2395 inspection & testing, C&G 2919 Vehicle Charging

This role will be 45 hours per week, permanent/full time. Office Location: Unit 11, Smiths Close, Zone 3 Burntwood Business Park, Staffordshire, WS7 3FT
