Aptus Utilities is looking for a Developing Project Manager to join our team in the Yorkshire area.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of schemes in a designated geographical area.
  • Dealing with all aspects of site work from the initial pre-start meeting held by the Project Delivery Manager and communicated to the Project Manager to allow multi-utility installation connections.
  • Pre-start with developer site agents, pre-vetting plots and mains, and communication with site agents.
  • Ordering materials for schemes based on approved designs.
  • Ordering of plant and road opening notices and traffic management for the schemes.
  • Managing direct and subcontract resources on site.
  • Team audits and quality audits to be completed on site.
  • Undertake measures of work on site and ensure track sheets are completed and submitted.
  • Ensure teams are completing as laid, check and return packs to CAD; collection of all paperwork in relation to operations work for submission to asset owners.
  • Liaise with water, gas and electric engineering departments to arrange necessary connections / jointing etc.
  • Close out NCRs and incident reports in a timely manner as required.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

  • Must be able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Hold Full UK driving licence.
