Aptus Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to help assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, assist with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate\’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited college or university
- Licensure: State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- Skills: Strong knowledge and application of speech therapy techniques and strategies; experience in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Population: Experience working with pediatrics is preferred, but not required
