Aptura builds AI for the high-stakes corners of finance, law, and healthcare, where a wrong answer actually matters. We pair frontier models with real expert judgment from people who've spent years doing the job. Our work involves collaborating with AI labs and vertical AI companies to push models into expert, highly-regulated domains.

We're in an early stage and moving fast, now based in Liverpool Street, as we grow out Ops and Engineering. We value high agency and low ego: people who work together as a team, get things done, and build for scale instead of patching the same problem twice.

We're hiring an intern to take ownership and shape the high-velocity expert network over time. Our work depends on a network of expert contributors: investment bankers, physicians, attorneys, and other specialists with years of high-stakes experience. Sourcing the right experts quickly and at quality is one of the most important tasks we undertake. You will own large parts of that pipeline end-to-end and help move it from high-human touch to a more automated process.

You will work at the intersection of:

  • Talent sourcing and outbound across LinkedIn, Juicebox, and warm networks
  • Pipeline operations in modern recruiting tools (Ashby, Ribbon)
  • AI-assisted screening and candidate evaluation

You will be sourcing senior domain experts, ex-IB associates, physicians, and M&A lawyers, who have high expectations for those that interact with them. Their expert judgment directly shapes how the next generation of AI models reasons.

What You'll Do

You will work directly with Aptura's wider operations team on the sourcing engine that powers every project we run. Typical work includes:

  • Translate project requirements into a sourcing plan: Take intake from the team (domain, task description, role, location, timeframe, volume, years of experience, rate, priority firms) and decide where and how to source.
  • Run outbound at volume: Execute LinkedIn outreach, Juicebox sequences, and targeted job posts across schools, alumni groups, warm leads, and KPO networks. Iterate on outreach copy and templates based on what's actually converting.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline in Ashby: Move candidates through stages cleanly, keep data tidy, and decide who to reject versus keep in the pool for future projects.
  • Screen candidates: Run manual screens, set up AI-led interviews via Ribbon, and review responses against role requirements with a critical eye.
  • Coordinate handoffs to onboarding: Pass accepted experts into the onboarding assessment flow and work closely with the onboarding team to ensure nothing falls between the cracks.
  • Improve the system: Spot what's slow, broken, or manual, and propose fixes — new tools, better templates, cleaner workflows.

Above all, we're a lean and fast-moving team. While the above captures the core of the role, we're looking for adaptable, enthusiastic candidates who want to contribute to growing the business in whatever way they can.

Who We're Looking For

  • You're a people person. You understand what motivates people and can design a human system around that, one that actually scales rather than falling apart at volume.
  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent operations, or a closely adjacent role is preferred.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, as you'll be writing a lot of outbound messages, where small differences in copy compound.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage dozens of experts in flight without losing track.
  • Comfort with a fast, unstructured environment where priorities shift week to week; ideally, you've worked somewhere early-stage before.
  • A bias toward action: you'd rather send fifty messages and learn than perfect one.
  • A genuine interest in AI, frontier labs, and how expert knowledge gets translated into model training.
  • A drive to create automation and repeatable systems.
  • Bonus: hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Juicebox, or similar sourcing/recruiting tools, and a point of view on what works and what doesn't.
