Reporting to the Operations Director, we are looking for a Quality and EHS Manager to build out the quality, compliance and health and safety framework for Apto's data centres across Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Design framework that will ensure all data centre operations meet industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Lead plan to obtain accreditations, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO 50001, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS, Zero Waste to Landfill certification and other local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate external audits and certification activities with third party assessors.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and accountability and deliver training programmes on quality standards, compliance requirements, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, security, and facilities teams to embed quality and compliance into daily workflows.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning from a compliance perspective.
  • Prepare Health and Safety plan and framework for all sites.
  • Ensure vendor and contractor activities meet contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to verify adherence to operational procedures, SLAs, and best practices.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, version control, and process standardisation across teams.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • Proven experience in quality management, or compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience conducting audits and managing certification processes.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale or hyperscale data centre environments.
  • Health and Safety experience of operational sites.
  • Multilingual capabilities are an asset.
  • Experience working in high-performance, cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies and continuous improvement tools.

Location: Dublin or London. Travel across Europe as required.
