As our Pizza Chef you'll be:
- Crafting and working with pizza dough daily, from prep through to service.
- Cooking high-quality pizzas throughout the day, keeping pace with service while maintaining consistency and care.
- Working closely with our hotel chefs to manage stock, support ordering, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Keeping a clean, organised and efficient workspace in a fast-paced, open kitchen environment.
- Communicating clearly and confidently with the team to create a positive, collaborative atmosphere in the Glasshouse from day one.
- Taking pride in high standards, with a strong focus on food safety, hygiene and guest experience at all times.
The skills you'll be sharing with us:
- Experience working with a wood-fired pizza oven, with a good understanding of heat control, timing and consistency.
- A Food Hygiene certificate, with a strong commitment to maintaining excellent food safety standards.
- A flexible approach to working hours, comfortable with varied shift patterns in a busy hospitality environment.
- A genuine interest in food, with a passion for pizza and a desire to develop your skills further.
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) as a minimum.
