We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team this summer. With a passion for great food and service, you’ll take pride in your cooking, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and consistently deliver high-quality dishes. As our Chef de Partie you’ll be:

  • Supporting our team in running a well-organised, efficient kitchen, helping ensure the team works to consistent standards.
  • Preparing, cooking, and portioning dishes (including staff meals) to pub standards for quality and presentation.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
  • Following instructions from our senior chefs and contributing to a smooth daily service.
  • Helping with prep in line with expected business levels and service needs.
  • Completing daily checklists, temperature logs, and other kitchen records accurately.
  • Assisting with stock rotation and topping up stations as needed.
  • Taking part in all general kitchen duties, including prep, storage, and service.
  • Keeping your own work area clean, organised, and safe at all times, supporting a safe environment for the whole team.

The skills you’ll be sharing with us:

  • Food Hygiene certificate or training
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment
  • A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry
  • Good understanding of ingredients, with a creative approach to using them
  • Able to stay calm and effective under pressure during busy service
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours and shift patterns
