We are currently recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking private training Provider for a Hospitality Coach.

Job Purpose

The role of the Development Coach is to coach, guide and mentor apprentices enrolled onto the Hospitality programme to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment. Working in partnership with the apprentice's line manager, you are responsible for planning activities and providing coaching to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to the Hospitality apprenticeship standard up to L4.

Job Role:

  • To train, guide and mentor learners enrolled onto the Hospitality programmes and to ensure their timely progress.
  • Accountable for making reasonable adjustments to meet the individual needs of learners across a wide variety of provisions.
  • Mark/assess learners' work, provide structured feedback and set and agree development objectives with all key stakeholders.
  • Accurately track progress of all learners and effectively risk band their timely progress and achievement using additional learner support funds and tools, where necessary, to ensure learners are not disadvantaged.
  • Support learners with their functional skills by embedding this into your delivery.
  • Account manage the client caseload to ensure we retain business, facilitate progression and secure new business.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of work in a hospitality environment.
  • Experience of working within boutique hotels.
  • Delivering apprenticeship programs up to L4.
  • Experience of mentoring/coaching in a professional environment.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
  • To hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check.
  • Time management and working to deadlines.
  • Pastoral welfare of young people and colleagues.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
