Aptitude Recruitment our supporting our client in recruiting for a Panel Wireman/ Fitter for their Liverpool Facility.
Our client is an LV Switchgear Manufacturing Company focused on providing our extensive customer base across the UK and Ireland with the highest quality switchgear solutions.
Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment
– Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
– Perform frame carpentry work to support the installation of electrical components
– Build and assemble electrical control panels and cabinets
– Test electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Wireman or Electrician
– Proven experience of working in a Switchgear/ Switchboard/ Final Distribution Environment
– Experience working with sub distribution boards
– Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols
– Full UK driving license
– Must hold an ECS Card or ability to obtain one
