We are currently looking to support a market leading Organisation in Malaga who are looking to add an english speaking Management Accountant to their ever growing team. If you have an EU passport and are interested in building a life in Spain, please reach out. This organisation is offering to get you fully set up, paying for flights and covering your rent for 6 weeks to help you get settled. Main Duties: * Performing month end closing tasks * Posting accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and other journals * Balance sheet reconciliations, control and reporting * Cost analysis and control * Preparation of monthly management accounts * Preparation of monthly reporting packs * Accuracy and completeness of data interfaces and overall data integrity * Understanding data and process flow and solving any related issues * Business analysis and reporting * Involvement in new system developments and projects Financial Analysis: * Analyse actual financial performance and position against budget, forecast and prior year * Provide stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on business costs * Salary cost and headcount reporting Budgeting and Forecasting: * Ensure a user friendly and efficient budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process * Accurate financial forecasts based on historical data. * Budget and forecast organising and reporting Ad-hoc Analysis: * Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to assist in management decision-making. * Month end management accounting support Experience Required: * Prior experience in a similar role is essential * 5+ years in a financial or accounting role Skills: * Advanced excel * Sound financial accounting knowledge * Excellent attention to detail * Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen * Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualification: * ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
