As our Tax Manager, reporting to our Deputy CFO you will lead our tax agenda across the UK and internationally. You will manage compliance, shape tax strategy, and work closely with Finance, Legal, HR and Commercial teams to ensure tax is embedded in every core activity. This is a hybrid role aligned with our London offices (minimum 3 days in office). You will be hands‑on across:
- Corporation tax compliance and reporting
- VAT, IPT and payroll tax oversight
- Tax accounting under FRS 102
- Transfer pricing, intercompany and cross‑border matters
- US compliance (outsourced)
- Tax governance, HMRC engagement & risk management
- Supporting M&A, restructurings and commercial deals
- Process improvement, systems, and tax technology
- Training teams and elevating tax awareness across the business
You will also act as our trusted adviser internally and manage relationships with top‑tier external tax advisers.
Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA (or equivalent), 4–8 years’ corporate tax experience, experience in a PE‑backed, fast‑growth, financial services or professional services environment, strong UK tax technical grounding and comfort owning issues end‑to‑end, experience with tax accounting, indirect taxes and (ideally) transfer pricing, pragmatic, commercially minded judgement, confidence influencing non‑tax stakeholders, a proactive, hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach.
