Responsibilities
- Carry out regular reviews of data extractions.
- Analyse data that has been manipulated to ensure data integrity is maintained.
- Sign off data extracts (including manipulation) before data can be issued.
- Review/sign off final data used for mail-merges ensuring communications are correct.
- Ensure data is handled in line with GDPR requirements.
- Assist in the provision of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) if required.
- Contribute to changes in processes to strengthen controls around data handling.
- Maintain the Data Analysis tool, guidance and documentation.
- Manage and develop the teams\’ Data Analyst(s).
- Produce reports relating to Data Analysis within the QA&A function.
- Manage and distribute the Data Analysis workload amongst the team.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality data analysis within strict turnaround times.
- Streamline data analysis workflows and referral processes across Aptia\’s operational teams.
- Coordinate incoming work for efficient data analysis processing.
- Identify and report data quality issues to support compliance and reduce the risk of data breaches.
- Build proficiency with data analysis tools and processes through training and hands-on experience.
- Contribute to improving overall efficiency and capacity of the Data Analysis function within QA&A.
- Work alongside QA&A and the wider First Line of Defence function to ensure a robust control environment is established across the Aptia administration business.
- Manage the teams\’ Data Analyst(s).

- The Data Analyst will act as an ambassador for Aptia and will continually look to improve and embed best practice and excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis within a QA&A environment.
- Strong understanding of data manipulation, data integrity, and data quality assurance.
- Familiarity with GDPR requirements and data protection practices.
- Ability to sign off data extracts and final data for communications.
- Experience in leading or managing a team of Data Analyst(s).
- Proactive in identifying data quality issues and implementing improvements.
- Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (UK and India QA&A teams).
