About the role: Aptean Expands Warehouse Management Capabilities Through Acquisition of Indigo Software. Indigo WMS is a market leading warehouse management system, providing exceptional real-time control, visibility and function for your warehousing operations. The role aims to deliver top-tier consultancy using various implementation methodologies, ensuring timely and relevant solutions. This is achieved by understanding the client’s expected value and benefits from their investment and delivering a solution that meets these expectations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Review and document client processes, recommending improvements aligned with the supply chain best practices within software constraints.
- Provide training to the project team and assist with documentation, testing, and scenario validation for project success.
- Define functional requirements for bespoke work and support the development team during testing and the development cycle.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams on new functionality delivery.
- Assist with data setup for user acceptance testing and Go Live.
- Support the client during the Go Live process.
- Ensure a smooth post-implementation handover to support staff, maintaining ongoing client engagement.
- Offer backup guidance to the client’s support team for helpdesk issues.
- Assume Project Manager role when needed.
- Identify potential issues or exceptions and promptly notify the Project Manager/Principal Consultant.
- Complete the timesheet and administrative tasks accurately.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in Warehousing, Distribution, or Logistics.
- Expertise in implementing warehouse management systems as a subject matter expert or key user.
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and business challenges.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and learn emerging solutions and technologies.
- Experience in business process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time within the UK and occasionally abroad.
