Are you a proactive and people-focused communicator with a passion for science and sales? We’re looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team at our new offices based in York.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, digital outreach, and follow-up on marketing campaigns
- Support the lead generation strategy by using modern tools and market insights to drive pipeline growth
- Maintain accurate records and forecasts in our CRM (Salesforce) and report key metrics to leadership
- Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers and act as a trusted adviser throughout the sales process
- Represent the company at relevant exhibitions, webinars and virtual events, with full pre‑ and post‑event engagement
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and production teams to align messaging and maximise conversion opportunities
- Share customer and market feedback to influence commercial strategy and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- BSc or MSc in Biology, Molecular Biology or a related life science discipline
- 1–5 years’ experience in a sales support, inside sales or lead generation role
- Strong communication skills and a confident, professional phone manner
- Experience using CRM systems (Sales Force preferred) and MS Office tools
- Comfortable using LinkedIn and digital platforms to research and engage prospects
- Based in the UK and able to work from our York office
