ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and organised marketing executive to support, create and implement our direct marketing activity. The Direct Marketing Executive will act as a central link between Specialist Sales Manager, internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive, effective marketing activity for our direct consumers. This role has a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in our London office and 3 days working remotely from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brief, execute and evaluate all B2C marketing campaign activity aligned to the annual marketing plan within agreed timeframes and budget - including printed brochure, press implementation and events.
  • Co-ordinate and project manage consumer events and shows, including campaign materials, flyers and promotional assets.
  • Experience in writing engaging copy to support offline activity - e.g.: press adverts, promotion activity.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider Marketing Team to ensure all campaigns and activity are delivered in a joined up and cohesive manner.
  • Analyse results and evaluate performance. Use results to make recommendations to enhance future campaigns and activity.
  • Work with the internal studio design team and agency partners to produce on-brand collateral as required.
  • Timely and accurate briefing, proofing and feedback on all marketing including some partner activity.
  • Technical proof for all activity featuring pricing or promotions - checking lead ins, departures, T&C’s etc.
  • Ensure all communications are accurate, on brand, and consistent with marketing positioning and key messaging.
  • Act in advisory role to partners and other departments on brand, look and feel and tone of voice.
  • Proactively uphold the APT Travel Group reputation and brand.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster harmonious working relationships with key partners and trade stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, Head Office, suppliers and agencies.
  • Work with Customer Service Centre team to ensure campaign activity supports sales conversion.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 1 year of traditional marketing experience (Travel industry desired) preferably in project management of events.
  • Proven track record delivering campaigns on time and to budget across multiple channels.
  • Strong written English, great attention to detail and a creative eye.
  • Confident communicator, quick learner and highly organised.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience briefing and working with creative department or agencies.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all information is represented accurately and in clear, concise manner relevant to the intended audience.
  • Accountable, will own the responsibility to make things happen on time and to budget.
  • Analytical, with the ability to draw meaning from reports and data.
  • Understanding of how marketing is linked to business performance (long/short term).
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively across department and with stakeholders to arrive at an optimal business outcome.
