Senior Multi Skilled Gas Engineer
Location: Three sites - Ascot, Richmond and Central London
Salary: £60,000 + Depending on experience
Benefits: Fully expensed Van, company bonus scheme
The Role
My clients seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and self-motivated Senior Multi Skilled Gas Engineer to join their team. The Senior Multi Skilled Gas Engineer role involves providing expert planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown support, diagnostics, repair, and installation services for a wide range of commercial and industrial boiler systems across a key clients properties in Ascot, Richmond and Central London.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Full current Commercial Gas Safe accreditations including:
- COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)
- ICPN1 (Installation of Commercial Pipework)
- CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances)
- CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances)
- TPCP1A or TPCP1 (Testing & Purging of Pipework)
- CORT1 (Commercial Overhead Radiant Tubes & Appliances) – desirable but not essential
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation, Gas Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a range of boiler manufacturers and types.
- AC and Electrical knowledge, Experience with AHU’s and FCU’s preferred.
- F Gas Cat 1
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to boiler operations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Able to pass an advanced DBS check
Desirable:
- Basic electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Relevant manufacturer training certifications.
