My client are looking for a skilled and reliable Pump Engineer to join their team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of pump systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout London. This is a field-based role requiring strong fault-finding ability, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of pump systems
- Diagnose and repair faults including leaks, pressure loss, vibration, overheating, and electrical/control issues
- Remove, overhaul, and reinstall pumps and associated equipment
- Work on systems such as:
- Booster sets
- Circulation pumps
- Sump & sewage pumps
- Pressurisation units
The Person
- Proven experience working as a pump engineer, mechanical engineer, or service engineer
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrics
- Experience working on commercial or industrial pump systems
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
