Working with a team of engineers, the main focus of the AC Engineer will be to carry out service maintenance works on a key public sector contract consisting of three sites. The successful AC Engineer will provide a professional service to clients working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.
Job Duties
- Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
- Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
- Provide Further works reports where required
- Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
- Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
- Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
The Person
- Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications, including up to date Safe Handling (2079)
- Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
- A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
- Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including that of: VRF, VRVS, AHU’s, Coldroom’s and Specialist Refrigeration
- Ability to develop and be part of a team
- Manage their own time, works and paperwork
- Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
- Positive attitude “can do will do”
- Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
