Job Overview
I'm looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Mechanical Estimator to support my client's estimating department in preparing accurate and competitive bids for HVAC and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, particularly HVAC, and possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for HVAC and mechanical systems projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other bid documents to understand project requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs for mechanical equipment, ductwork, piping, and associated materials
- Research and compile material and equipment costs from suppliers and subcontractors
