Hours of Work: Continental Shifts, 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am.

Salary: £55,800 + shift allowance

Job Summary

My client are currently seeking a Continental Shift Maintenance Engineer for a role based at Canary Wharf. This is a static role within a corporate building and working with a team of engineers, you will be required to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance within the building.

Main Responsibilities

  • To identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate.
  • To carry out the required routine servicing, repair or adjustment of plant and machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule as tasked by the Building Control Co-ordinator.
  • To work with other operators as required to ensure the most cost effective completion of all tasks.
  • To understand and to be able to operate all building control systems in order to monitor the plant, collect data and diagnose faults, where appropriate.
  • To assist in the commissioning / decommissioning of plant and equipment under the direction of the Building Services Manager.
  • To assist in the supervision of sub-contractors as appropriate.
