Commercial Gas Engineer – Mobile | London
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Mobile – London & Greater London
Vehicle: Company Van Provided

The Company
Our client is a leading M&E building services provider, delivering mechanical and electrical engineering, maintenance and facilities services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the south east.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their mobile engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with a respected building services organisation.
The Role
As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, servicing and fault finding across a range of commercial sites throughout London.
You will work as part of an established mobile engineering team, providing a high standard of technical service to clients and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs on commercial gas and heating systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on commercial gas appliances and associated plant.
- Maintain and service commercial boilers, burners, heating systems and associated mechanical equipment.
- Complete gas safety checks and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Carry out planned maintenance in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests when required.
- Complete accurate service reports, job sheets and maintenance records.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and other engineers.
- Identify additional works and report any defects or remedial requirements. xgikmsk
