Bid Manager
Location: Dartford, Kent
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
My client, a leading M&E building services provider, are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their Hard FM department.
Job Summary: The Bid Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning bids. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of bid management, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. The Bid Manager will work closely with the Business Development team, Operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that bids are accurately priced, well-written, and effectively showcase the companies capabilities and value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, industry events, and networking
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and market trends
Lead and manage the bid process, including:
Write, edit, and finalize bid documents, including executive summaries, technical proposals, and pricing schedules
Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and to track bid performance and results
Work closely with Operations teams to ensure that bids are accurately priced and that operational capabilities are effectively showcased
