Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

My client specialise in Lift maintenance, repairs, installations and modernisations. Due to growth, they seek a sales coordinator for a role based in Medway.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Prepare all quotes arising from callouts, LOLER reports, service, and repair recommendations.
  • Once a PO is received: prepare the repair, create the job/repair pack, and send to the Repairs Department with a timeline.
  • Check and review all quotes in Autovu (AV); close down duplicates.
  • Complete and maintain the sales spreadsheet for tracking quotes and orders.
  • Obtain the best available prices for required parts from suppliers.

Client & Supplier Communication

  • Liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis regarding enquiries, quotes, and updates.
  • Chase outstanding quotes to secure POs.
  • Assist Sales Manager and Director with new enquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Assist with social media posts and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to quarterly company newsletters.
  • Assist in developing the new website, company profile, and presentations.
  • Update the company notice board with current information.

Quality, ISO & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, quotes, and PO information.
  • Support ISO record keeping through timely completion of sales documentation and logs.
  • Ensure consistency and professionalism in all client communications.

Administration & Office Support

  • Order office uniforms as required.
  • Arrange ID cards for staff.
  • Manage and order office stationery supplies.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a Lift & Escalator company would be preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Can work well under pressure.
