Location: London (Mobile with a van) - Three sites in South East and Central London

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Salary: Circa £50,000

Benefits: Company Bonus, plenty of overtime on offer, fully expensed company vehicle

Working with a team of engineers, the main focus of the AC Engineer will be to carry out service maintenance works on a key public sector contract consisting of three sites. The successful AC Engineer will provide a professional service to clients working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Job Duties
  • Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
  • Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
  • Provide Further works reports where required
  • Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
  • Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
  • Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
The Person
  • Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications, including up to date Safe Handling (2079)
  • Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
  • A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
  • Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including that of: VRF, VRVS, AHU's, Coldroom's and Specialist Refrigeration
  • Ability to develop and be part of a team
  • Manage their own time, works and paperwork
  • Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
  • Positive attitude “can do will do”
  • Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
